Approves the day's work at 09:30 and 15:30 and takes owner calls. About 5 hours a week (estimate).
For independent restaurants, cafés, pubs and inns
Every review answered.
Every complaint fixed.
Kind Regards drafts a calm, honest reply to every Google and Tripadvisor review, in your voice. You sign it off in a tap. Then we turn what guests keep saying into a short list of fixes.
New business, opening November 2026. No venues yet: the AI staff are set up and ready to switch on.
Example only. The Hare and Martin are made up.
The reply debt
The reviews keep coming. The replies don't.
Most owners mean to answer every review. Then it's Friday service, a chef calls in sick, and a 1★ sits there all weekend for every new guest to read. Good replies take time: you have to read it, calm down, check what happened and find the right words.
Answering is the easy half. The harder half is noticing that six people this month said the same thing about the wait, and doing something about it.
How it works
Six steps, one tap from you
- 01
Arrives
Postmark collects every new Google review through the official Business Profile API. Tripadvisor review emails are forwarded to us, because Tripadvisor has no reply API for owners.
- 02
Drafted
Quill writes a reply in your house voice within the hour: thanks for the specifics, owns the problem, offers a private chat and signs off with a real name. 1★ and 2★ reviews also send you a text.
- 03
Checked
Blotter reads every draft before you do. No offers or freebies, no asking anyone to change a review, no accusing guests, no personal details, no arguing.
- 04
You sign
You approve on your phone. 1★ to 3★ replies always wait for you. Google replies post through the API; Tripadvisor ones come ready to paste.
- 05
Ledger
Every review is tagged by theme: food, wait, staff, booking, noise, price. Each week you see what's rising, with quotes, by site.
- 06
Fix List
Mender turns the top themes into up to three small fixes a month, each with an owner, a date and a 30-day check-back, so you can see if it worked.

Some replies shouldn't go out
Since April 2025 the DMCC Act has made fake reviews, paid-for reviews and hiding bad ones illegal in the UK. Google and Tripadvisor have their own rules on top. Blotter knows them, so you don't have to. Edit the reply, then check it.
Or ask Quill for something it won't do:
What we never do
Fair by design, not by luck
- No fake reviews. We never write, buy or post reviews, and our bots refuse if asked.
- No review gating. We don't ask only happy guests, and we don't steer unhappy ones away.
- No rewards for reviews. No discounts, draws or freebies, in replies or anywhere else.
- No pressure. We never ask a guest to change or remove a review.
- No posting without you. 1★ to 3★ replies always wait for your OK.
- No ads in your replies. Ever. Not in alerts, approvals, invoices or your monthly letter either.
Your AI staff
Ten bots (eleven with the optional ad-sales bot), one human
They work around the clock: no breaks, no sick days, no wages, pension or National Insurance. The owner, the one human, checks the work every day. They're set up and ready to switch on for the first venue.
Runs the desk, hands out the work and tells the owner what needs a human.
Finds independent venues from free public data, like the FSA hygiene register.
Drafts one short, honest first email per venue. The owner sends it, or doesn't.
Collects every new Google and Tripadvisor review, day and night.
Writes the reply in your voice within the hour.
Texts you within the hour about any 1★ or 2★ review.
Tags every review by theme and spots what's rising.
Turns the top themes into up to three fixes a month, with check-backs.
Checks every reply against UK law and platform rules before you see it.
Writes your monthly letter and keeps the books.
Sells clearly labelled ads in Desk Notes. Never in your replies.

Questions
Fair questions
Do you post replies without asking me?
Never for 1★ to 3★ reviews: those always wait for you. You can give a standing OK for 4★ and 5★ replies, and take it back any time.
How does Tripadvisor work?
Tripadvisor doesn't offer owners a reply API, so you forward its review emails to your Kind Regards address. We draft the reply, Blotter checks it against Tripadvisor's guidelines, and you paste it in with one tap. About 20 seconds.
Will you get us more reviews?
We don't send review requests, and we never ask only happy guests. If you'd like a table card, ours asks every guest the same way, with nothing offered in return. Honest replies and real fixes are what bring the rating up.
Is this legal?
Yes, and we're strict about it. The DMCC Act 2024 bans fake reviews, incentivised reviews that aren't disclosed, and hiding negative reviews. Google and Tripadvisor ban review gating and offers in replies. Blotter blocks all of these.
Who's behind it?
Kind Regards is a new UK business with one person, the owner, who checks the AI staff's work every day. We have no venues yet, so there are no client stories to show you. The free Reply Sample is the fairest way to judge us.
What happens to our data?
We read public reviews and the review emails you forward. We don't sell or share data, and we don't contact your guests. Full details are in the privacy notice.
Can I cancel?
Yes. It's 30-day rolling with no minimum term. Everything we drafted stays yours.
Free Reply Sample
Judge us on five replies
Tell us your venue. We'll draft replies to five of your recent public reviews, in your voice, and send them to you. Drafts only: nothing is posted anywhere, and there's nothing to pay.
